We'll review your idea and let you know if it's a go.
If we have too many similar businesses, we might ask you to tweak your idea.

Join a fun workshop with Ascend Guides to plan your business.
Figure out what you need, set a budget, and plan how to make it happen.
👷🏽♀️ Build:
Create your product or set up your service.
Borrow some money from your parents to get started (you'll pay them back after the fair).
💸 Sell:
On June 8th, set up your booth at the fair.
Show off your business to customers and make some sales!

Who is eligible to apply for the Young Entrepreneur Fair?
Our programs are open to children ages 6 to 16 who are interested in entrepreneurship.
What's included in the vendor fee?
A nonrefundable Vendor Fee includes an in-person business planning session with Ascend Academy Guides to refine their idea and make a plan for executing and profiting, a 10x10 space (tent provided for a fee or bring your own) to vend their product, a t-shirt, pizza and drinks at the end of the fair.
How do I apply?
Applications open to the public on March 17th, 2025 and close on April 11th, 2025. Interested participants can apply through our website by submitting an application form, which includes details about their business idea.
What are the benefits of participating in the Young Entrepreneur Fair?
You’ll turn your ideas into a real business, create and sell your own products, and even make real money! You’ll learn how to price your products, manage a budget, and pay back a small loan—just like real entrepreneurs. Along the way, you’ll build confidence, practice pitching your ideas, and meet other young business owners who love to create and sell. Plus, it’s fun! Set up your booth, share what you’ve made, and watch people get excited about your business.
What are the costs associated with vending in the Young Entrepreneur Fair?
The nonrefundable Vendor Fee is $40 (tent included) or $30 (if you supply your own tent). Additional costs are solely based on your business idea and the supplies needed to execute your idea.
How often do the Young Entrepreneur Feedback Forums occur?
There are two planned: April 30th and May 8th in the afternoon at Ascend Academy Milford. Details will be emailed to accepted vendors.
